The original idea was to try to write a poem or song every day for a year. Now the idea is to write when I can. Hopefully that will be often. But sometimes life goes in other directions.

Battle Scars
I got the title and idea for this song during a songwriting workshop by Wil Maring at Santa Fe Trad Fest. On my birthday morning the first verse and chorus fell into place quickly followed by the other verses, which are based on my workshop notes.
