Coffee Haikus

I wrote  a couple of haikus  in my NaNoWriMo novel tonight. It's written in verse and I discovered that there is an alternative Haiku form, 3/5/3, so I figured it would fit right in with my character's personality.


I can’t fall asleep
I can hear crickets chirping
They keep me awake.

Caffeine buzz
Lasts too long for me
Time to crash.
