Snakes are our friends
They eat tons of insects
slugs, worms, frogs,
salamanders,
fish and mice, voles and gophers.
Yum.
Bees should also be our friends
They don’t want to sting you,
they just want to gather nectar
and make sweet honey.
Yum.
Thaw
Go from frozen to liquid,
as a result
of warming up.
You can thaw frozen meat
You can thaw your cold feelings,
Grow gentle.
Accept things you may fear
or not fully understand.
Look for the good
before you strike or run.
Snakes, honey, and thaw
are more related
